Professor Jiang Qing was awarded the Outstanding Young Scientist Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2000 and was selected as a Distinguished Professor of the Major Talent Program of the Ministry of Education in 2001. Professor Jiang Qing is a member of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Materials Science, a member of the European Academy of Sciences, a fellow of the Royal Society of Physics, a director of the Chinese Materials Research Society, a member of the Seventh Advisory Committee of the Engineering and Materials Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and an overseas member of the Peer Review Society of the Engineering and Science Research Council of the United Kingdom. He was a member of the Materials Department of the Sixth Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Education. He is mainly engaged in the research of thermal/kinetics of nanomaterials. He established the thermodynamic theory of phase transition of nanomaterials, constructed the surface energy function of nano/macro materials, revealed the thermal/kinetic control mechanism of energy storage and conversion of new energy materials, and developed a variety of high-efficiency catalytic and energy storage materials. He has published more than 700 papers in SCI journals such as Nat. Commun., Joule, Adv. Mater., Phys. Rev. Lett., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., with more than 33,000 SCI citations and an H index of 94.
Zhou Ying, male, born in March 1981, is a second level professor, doctoral supervisor, recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund, national candidate for the Million and Ten Thousand Talents Project, and a young Changjiang Scholar from the Ministry of Education. Currently, she is a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Southwest Petroleum University. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Inorganic and Non metallic Materials Engineering from Central South University in July 2004; In May 2007, she graduated from Shanghai Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences with a master’s degree in materials science; I graduated with a PhD in Materials Chemistry from the University of Zurich in Switzerland in October 2010; I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zurich in Switzerland from November 2010 to May 2011; I worked as a researcher at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany from July 2014 to June 2016 (Humboldt Scholar); Engaged in research work at Kyoto University in Japan from January 2020 to February 2020 (JSPS invited scholars from Japan); Since July 2012, he has served as the Director of the Teaching and Research Office of New Energy Materials and Devices, Vice Dean and Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Dean of the School of New Energy and Materials, and Dean of the Institute of Photovoltaic Industry Technology; Starting from September 2022, appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Southwest Petroleum University; Starting from November 2022, he will serve as the Vice President of Southwest Petroleum University. Mainly engaged in research on solar fuel, comprehensive utilization of weather heat, and complementary regulation and utilization of wind, solar, natural gas, hydrogen, and ammonia energy. Hosted 2 key special projects of the National Key Research and Development Program, as well as 5 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Conducted projects in Nature Communications, JACS, and Angelw Chem. and other domestic and foreign journals have published more than 190 papers, with over 10000 citations. Since 2020, he has been selected as a highly cited scholar in Elsevier China and has been granted more than 40 domestic and foreign invention patents. My research achievements have won the second prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education, the second prize of the Sichuan Provincial Natural Science Award, and the first prize of the China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Industry Technology Invention Award. I have also won the Young Teacher Award of the Huo Yingdong Education Foundation and the Youth Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Award of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. I also serve as a director of the China Materials Research Society and a member of the New Energy Special Committee of the China Petroleum Society.
Li Meicheng, male, professor, doctoral supervisor. Specially appointed professor by the Ministry of Education, national leader in scientific and technological innovation, member of the Education Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, member of the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Education, and enjoying special government allowances from the State Council. Dean of the New Energy College, Executive Deputy Director of the National Office of Major Science and Technology Infrastructure, Director of the New Energy Materials and Device Technology Research Center, and Head of the National First Class Professional “Shuangwan Professional”. I conducted visiting research at the University of Cambridge in the UK from 2004 to 2006. Selected as “New Century Excellent Talents” by the Ministry of Education, “Top 100 Science and Technology Leaders” in Beijing, and “Science and Technology Innovation Talents” in the Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation Talent Promotion Plan. Mainly engaged in teaching and research work on new energy and energy storage engineering. He has successively presided over research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China Major Research Program, National 863 Program, National Science and Technology Support Program, Ministry of Education Doctoral Program Fund, and Joint Fund. I have published over 200 papers in domestic and international academic journals such as Nature Energy and Advanced Materials, and multiple of them have been selected as one of the top 1% highly cited or hot topic papers in ESI. Obtained 54 patent authorizations from the United States and China; Compiled 8 books in both Chinese and English. Received 5 provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards, including the first prize in natural science in Heilongjiang Province and the Beijing Science and Technology Award, as the first person to complete the project. Among them, won the “Electric Power Technology Innovation Award” in 2019. Served as a national science and technology award evaluation expert, a key research and development plan evaluation expert of the Ministry of Science and Technology, as well as the chairman of the IEEE PES Energy Storage Materials and Devices Subcommittee, deputy director of the Youth Work Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society, executive director of the China Energy Society, and executive director of the China Instrument and Materials Society. Served as an evaluation expert for the Central Organization Department, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Foundation Committee, and Energy Bureau. Editorial board members of multiple domestic and foreign journals such as IET Renewable Power Generation and Carbon Energy. Executive Director of the National Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage Technology; Director of Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Carbon Neutrality Technology; From 2003 to 2012, with funding from the China Scholarship Council and the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, participated in the International Energy Agency’s greenhouse gas project – Weyburn Oilfield Phase II CO2 Storage and Monitoring Project, and conducted research on CO2 geological storage monitoring technology. As the first person in charge, I have presided over three National 863 Program projects, three National Natural Science Foundation projects, one 973 Project project, and multiple horizontal projects. During the 12th Five Year Plan period, I led the 863 Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology in the field of advanced energy technology for clean coal, titled “Key Technologies for Carbon Dioxide Geological Storage (2012AA050103)”. The first domestic CO2 capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) full process demonstration project was carried out in the Jingbian Oilfield under Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group. This project has become one of the 33 key low-carbon technologies promoted by the National Development and Reform Commission, and the only project in China that has been certified by the National Leaders Forum on Carbon Collection (CSLF). For three consecutive years (in Bonn, Germany in 2017, Katowice, Poland in 2018, and Madrid, Spain in 2019), he participated in the United Nations Climate Change China Corner Conference as a member of the Chinese government delegation and delivered keynote speeches. In December 2017, he attended the Ministerial Conference of the Carbon Capture Leaders Forum (CSLF) held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as the head of the Chinese government delegation, and repeatedly represented China on the international stage to preach China’s achievements in addressing climate change. On May 21, 2021, as an expert, I was invited to participate in the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee’s Expert and Scholar Symposium on Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality, and proposed Shaanxi plans for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality to Shaanxi provincial leaders.
